SPONSOR A BIRD TALK
This project has been a labor of love for Tricia. She has put her education to work benefiting the community and families connecting people and migrating birds. Can you pitch in to help her move to the next step in this project? We are looking for donations for the next step in this process. We would like to raise funds for a proper tent, signs, and tables for festival events. If you are a legal office who can help me apply for the wordmark / copyright, I would be deeply appreciated for your generosity.
WHAT IS A BIRD TALK TOUR?
This is a STEAM program for all ages. The younger kids will enjoy a coloring page and the pre teens can work on a geography and state flower exercise. For the adults, we will learn how to do a planting plan. The participants will receive a free native plant planting plan and Tricia will show you “how to do it”.
If you would like to request a speaker, please call or email Tricia directly for more information.

Additional Resources:
Most people are not aware of the free (pre-paid with our taxes) the county extension offices in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties. If you have more specific questions about native plants in your landscape, call them. The master gardeners are super friendly and very helpful.

Audubon Society has great information as well. It’s not as specific to each planting zone in Florida but I used it for reference material for my research about the birds.
